Earth Week at Wayne State

The station ran reports throughout the weekend about current and upcoming Earth Week activities at Wayne State. The brief segments were culled from interviews with Dr. Irvin D. Reid, who holds the Eugene Applebaum Chair in Community Engagement, and Victor Green of the Government and Community Affairs Office regarding various aspects of the Earth Week celebration. When he was on campus last week, reporter Mike Campbell also interviewed Distinguished Professor of Music James Hartway and Professor Kami Pothukuchi about Earth Week activities they are involved with. Some of the reports referred listeners to the www.livinggreen.wayne.edu Web site for more information.
